3. Manufacturing

 

The product consists of two parts: tubes processed into needles by swaging and rods machined into hexagonal shapes. Tube swaging is a particular process involving metal forming (or cold working) for the precise shaping of tubes, rods, and other cylindrical workpieces. Starting from the raw steel tube material, the process involves cutting, shrinking, punching, and adjusting the total length of the swage (developed length).

 

Manners Technology uses two-die rotary swaging machines that utilize reciprocating radial motion to form the ends of materials placed in the machine, which can be used to point, downsize, and form metal wires, rods, and tubes. Finally, our engineers weld the needle tube and hexagonal parts together, then carry out the standardized process of polishing, electropolishing, full inspection of needle tips and holes by magnifying glass, sleeving the tips, and packaging. It is important to note that throughout the process, each completed process needs to be cleaned before moving on to the next process.
